About Bowles Media

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Journalism, Ms. Bowles is a free lance photographer, videographer and writer with offices in Tampa, Florida and Denver, Colorado. Her clients include The Houston Chronicle, Associated Press, Athlon, Wachovia Bank, JDH Capital, Frontier Development, Charlotte Health & Fitness Magazine, and Ralph Chancey Advertising. She has been published in Sports Illustrated, ESPN Magazine, SI.com and is the founder and editor of the on-line magazine Pigskin Lipstick, a magazine about football from a woman's perspective.

A former reporter for the Chapel Hill Newspaper and the Hickory Daily Record and press secretary to the United States Senate campaign of Bill Stevens, Ms. Bowles has also served as the outdoor and travel editor for City, Coast and Country Magazine based in Atlanta, Georgia. She also has a law degree and was on the editorial staff of the Urban Lawyer, the Florida Bar Journal and the Florida Bar News.

In August, 2006, Ms. Bowles attended the Platypus Video Workshop in Rockport, Maine where her award-winning video documentary "Dark Tales" was selected to be featured in the Digital Journalist.

Ms. Bowles accepts assignments in photography, videography and writing anywhere in the world.
